Model Based on Commission

Touringo Travel operates on a commission-based business model where you pay a percentage of each reservation you receive through our platform. We have designed our commission structure to be straightforward, with the belief that the price you set is what guests should pay. Our goal is to make it easy for you to set competitive prices and attract more guests.

The commission percentage can depend on your property type or location. To find out how much commission applies to you, please begin your registration process.

Commission is payable in the following scenarios: when you have a confirmed stay, when guests book non-refundable, partially refundable, or no-show reservations, or when guests cancel after the free cancellation period has ended. However, you do not have to pay commission if you choose to waive the cancellation fee for non-refundable bookings, mark a guest as a no-show, or mark a guest’s credit card as invalid.

If you have an overbooking, commission will be charged because the room was made available on Booking.com. We ask that you cover relocation costs for the guest in addition to paying commission. However, exceptions apply, and commission will not be charged on overbookings if you have been live on Booking.com for fewer than 30 days or have had fewer than five overbookings in 12 months.

Your monthly commission invoice is based on the total number of eligible reservations from the previous month, and invoices are issued during the first week of each month. You can modify reservation dates and change prices until the 2nd or 5th of the following month, depending on your property’s location. We encourage you to verify reservations before the invoice is issued to ensure that you only pay for verified reservations.

For instance, if a guest completes a stay in July, you have until the 2nd or 5th of August to complete the reconciliation process. The invoice will generate on August 3rd or 6th.

We understand that paying commission can be a concern for some partners, but we believe that our commission-based model is a fair and effective way to help drive bookings and revenue for your property. Our commission rates are competitive and are designed to help you maximize your profits while also ensuring that we can continue to provide you with the best possible service and support.

In addition to our commission-based model, we offer a range of tools and services that can help you optimize your listings, attract more guests, and manage your bookings more efficiently. These include features like our review system, which allows guests to leave feedback and ratings about their stays, as well as our analytics and reporting tools, which can help you track your performance and identify areas for improvement.

At Touringo.nl, we are committed to helping our partners succeed, and we are always looking for ways to improve our platform and services. Whether you are a seasoned hospitality professional or just starting out, we are here to support you every step of the way and help you achieve your business goals.
